We are so proud to announce that Monica Hellström, producer of The Distant Barking of Dogs, Forget Me Not, and many other films has been selected as one of the 20 participants for PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE 2020.
The annual initiative, organized by The European Film Promotion, seeks to facilitate industry network and potential co-production partnership in Europe. The program is normally held as a part of Cannes Film Festival, but it will take place independently this year, as the festival has been postponed due to the corona pandemic.
Each year 20 producers with promising performance from 20 different countries are invited to participate in the program to join project pitching, 1:1 meetings, case studies, social events and an extensive press campaign. This year’s program will run from May 11 to May 15.
This adds another exciting news about Hellström, whose recent title The Distant Barking of Dogs has just been announced as a nominee for a Peabody Award. She is currently working on the projects, Flee, I See For You and A House Made of Splinters.
