THE ACT OF KILLING wins Best Film and Best Production at Cinema Eye Honors / by Maria Kristensen

Joshua Oppenheimer's documentary THE ACT OF KILLING took home two of the top awards at Cinema Eye Honors, one of the major awards for documentary filmmaking.

The film was nominated in 4 categories (Best Film, Best Production, Best Direction, Best Editing) and won in the Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Feature Filmmaking and Outstanding Achievement in Production categories.

Director Joshua Oppenheimer, producer Signe Byrge Sørensen and editor Niels Pagh Andersen were at the award show in New York CIty.
