'A HOUSE MADE OF SPLINTERS' NOMINATED FOR 3 IDA AWARDS + 2 CINEMA EYE HONORS / by Maria Kristensen

We are beyond delighted that Simon Lereng Wilmont’s beautiful film A House Made of Splinters received 5 nominations in total from the International Documentary Association (IDA) and the Cinema Eye Honors.

From the International Documentary Association the film received the following IDA Awards nominations:

  • Best Documentary

  • Best Directing (Simon Lereng Wilmont)

  • Best Cinematography (Simon Lereng Wilmont)

From Cinema Eye the film received the following nominations:

  • Best Production (Monica Hellström)

  • Best Cinematography (Simon Lereng Wilmont)

The IDA Awards will take place on December 10 at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles, while the Cinema Eye Honors award ceremony is on January 12, 2023 at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, New York.
