Göran Hugo Olsson's Concerning Violence had its first of two screenings at CPH:DOX on November 10th at Grand Teatret.
The Lauryn Hill narrated documentary combines archival footage from 1966-1984 and is based on Franz Fanon's revolutionary text The Wretched of the Earth.
In their coverage of the film, the programmers at CPH:DOX describe Olsson's Concerning Violence as "a historical film that gets you out of your seats and which still is highly relevant. The aftermath of the European colonization of Africa will hardly come to an end any time soon".
