Christy Garland's What Walaa Wants, or by its French title Le rêve de Walaa, will open the Montreal International Documentary Festival RIDM, returning for its 21st annual edition, from November 8th to 18th. The film will be shown on November 8th and is also officially selected for the Canadian feature competition.
RIDM calls What Walaa Wants ‘‘an unforgettable portrait of a strong-willed young Palestinian woman’’.
