Joshua Oppenheimer's The Look of Silence won the award for 'Best Long Documentary' at the 31st Robert Awards.

The Robert Awards are among the most prestigious awards in Denmark and have been presented since 1984.

The Look of Silence is Joshua Oppenheimer's follow-up to his Oscar nominated The Act of Killing, both focusing on the genocide in Indonesia in the 1960s.

The Look of Silence competed for the Robert Award against another Final Cut for Real production Life is Sacred, directed by Andreas Dalsgaard and three other nominated films.
