We are thrilled to announce that Songs of Repression, directed by Marianne Hougen-Moraga and Estephan Wagner, was awarded both the DOX:Award (main competition award) and the Politiken:Danish:Dox (critic’s award).

Songs of Repression depicts how the inhabitants of a German colony in Chile react - and cope with - their shared abuse-fraught past.

Despite the unprecedented hardship caused by the covid-19 outbreak, CPH:DOX 2020 has virtually thrived, and its titles, including Songs of Repression, will continue to be available online until April 30th.

You can rent the film for €6.00 here.
