AWARD FOR NITESH ANJAAN'S 'FAR FROM HOME' AT MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL / by Maria Kristensen

Nitesh Anjaan took home the prize Best Debut for his film Far From Home at the 14th Mumbai International Film Festival.

In Far From Home, director Nitesh Anjaan follows his father with a camera, as the father after 39 years in Denmark, suddenly decides to leave everything behind and move back to India.

"Far from Home is a multi layered and captivating portrait of the Director's father and a story about a complex father-son relationship. The melancholy of the story is reflected in the dark, grey images which contribute to this mature work," said the jury.
