Forget me not by Sun Hee Engelstoft will be presented among the Rough Cut Screenings. The film follows three unwed mothers in South Korea, who face the impossible task of deciding whether to keep their baby or give it up for international adoption. The film is produced by Monica Hellström, and is co-produced with Minch&films (KR).

Camilla Nielsson is pitching Democrats II (working title), where the young opposition leader, Nelson Chamisa, challenges the old guard, ZANU-PF, lead by Emmerson Mnangagwa, in the first election since Robert Mugabe was ousted from power. The film is a follow up to Nielsson’s award-winning Democrats and is produced by Signe Byrge Sørensen.

Completing their trilogy on social stigma, Frida and Lasse Barkfors are pitching School Shooters (working title) where we meet parents with different stories and experiences, but with one thing in common: they are parents of a school shooter. The film is produced by Anne Köhncke, and co-produced with De Andra (SE).

IDFA Forum is one of the largest and most influential pitch forums for documentary films. 51 projects out of a record-breaking 768 projects submitted have been selected to pitch in Amsterdam from November 18th-21st.
