We are incredibly happy and proud to announce that Emma Wall and Betsy Hershey’s debut feature film 'JUST LOOK UP' has won the F:ACT Award at this years CPH:DOX!
Here is the jury’s statement: A film about a subject that couldn’t be more urgent and important, but is often overlooked. It manages to be funny, uplifting and even hopeful. We are honoured to give the award to the film for its well-crafted, beautifully observed story about a group of young people trying to save the world from self-inflicted destruction. The F:ACT Award goes to JUST LOOK UP, by Emma Wall & Betsy Hershey.’
It has been absolutely amazing to see how the audience at CPH:DOX has received the film, with sold out screenings and open-hearted and honest Q&A’s with the directors and activists that came all the way from the US to participate in the premiere.
We extend or warmest gratitude and congratulate the whole team and crew, the protagonists from Climate Defiance and everyone who contributed to the making of the film along the way.
