On International Human Rights Day, December 10th, around 430 screenings of Joshua Oppenheimer'sThe Look of Silence will take place all across Indonesia. It is especially notable that 130 of these screenings will be open to the general public.

'THE LOOK OF SILENCE' RECEIVES PRIZE FROM THE DANISH ARTS FOUNDATION /
Joshua Oppenheimer has been awarded a prize of 62,000 DKK from the Danish Arts Foundation for his critically praised documentary The Look of Silence. The film is among this year's three recipients of the prize, which the Danish Arts Foundation awards to creative filmmakers for their work.
