We are immensely happy and proud that Joshua Oppenheimer’s documentary films The Act of Killing and The Look of Silence shares the 4th place on Indiewire’s recent list of the best films of the 2010s.

In the mention of the films Indiewire writes that “[t]hese films about the legacy of the 1965-66 Indonesian genocide resonate not only because they’re important, but also because of how Oppenheimer’s craft activates that importance; how the audacity of his filmmaking dredges that history up from the darkness and injects it directly into our bones.”
